1965, born in Vilnius, Lithuania.
1983 – 1989 studied Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. Her major was painting.
Since 1989 M. Kosinskaitė is participating in group exhibitions.
Since 2001 she is a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association.

She is one of the most prominent and distinct painters of Lithuania’s contemporary art.

Painter Miglė Kosinskaitė’s art creations only at first glance seem to be easy to read. To say that her works are swell, fluttering, intriguing with its romantic surrealism, means – to tell nothing. Suggesting that it is an elegantly decorative, efficient and very personal art, the very essence then hangs in the air. The accusation that her personas are theatrical, with character, mysterious and resistant to change – just barely, barely hints at what is most important. The oeuvre by M. Kosinskaitė and its community is unique, sharply individualized and highly interested in our life.
